Novel Study Presentations are on Monday March 6
Novel study Booklets, with completed dictionary (created as a book), literary term assignment and all 3 written reflections are due on Wednesday. Remember this was started 2 weeks agon, so this should not be an overwhelming amount of work.
Wednesday March 8 will also be Pecha Cucha Day.

As well novel study books need to be at the midway points and students must be ready to write their mid-way response. The midway points are:

This week has been a whirlwind of essay writing. On Monday you should have finished putting your body paragraphs into rough copy.
Tuesday you went through a lesson on how to add more detail and break up boring paragraphs.
Wednesday we introduced our novel study and completed our initial reflectrion for that.
Today we took tuesday's lesson and applied it to our body paragraphs, looking to break up dull paragraphs. In second period we read our books.
Tomorrow you will be working on conclusions. Monday we will be doing introductions.

Yesterday we worked on our Intro to Medievel life activity and then did the black death detective roleplay.
Today we started our look at disease and our PEC paragraphs explaining our hypothesis of what would happen if a disease entered one of the key countries we looked at in our mapping assignment.

Yesterday and today we continued working on our stations. If you started with one of the small stations (1-4) you should have finished everything but stations 5&6. We've finished our worldview Unit and are moving onto Japan. Today we started the note activity for chapter 12 after watching THIS video to introduce the geography of Japan and its effect on the peoples word view.
There will be homework check done on Monday, which includes grammar pages 1-9 and the chapter assignment. This is the last warning you will have for homework checks.

Today we wrote in our writing journals and had a test on worldview. We then went over it as a class. We worked on our worldview projects in groups. homework is to research for our worldview projects. Remember you need to arrive at 15 statements based on the guiding research questions.
